The main aim of the project is making easy the access to cultural and tourist objects by means of extending the infrastructure and complex development of cultural and tourist information system.

Another aim of the project is also preservation and modernization of the objects with the basic value for regional culture. The realization of the project will contribute to:

• prolongation of crops durability and improvement of their value,
• restoration of the original features of the monuments which often by bad conservation lost their original elements,
• preservation and availability of cultural heritage in the region,
• the growth of social awareness about the culture, existing monuments in Calvary and cultural heritage of Cashubia (intensifying tourist-cultural information),
• the growth of regional identity and affiliation feeling especially Cashubian one,
• the enlargement of the crops number (some of them because of the poor condition were not available),
• the growth of town tourism attraction and wejherowski’s region on the terrain of which cultural and heritage objects are localized,
• the growth of the usage level of Wejherowski’s Calvary tourist potential,
• the enlargement of the tourists number in the region,
• the improvement of monuments and human safety.
  

The aim of the project is also distribution of cultural information by means of computer and Internet usage which will cause to enlargement of the cultural monuments availability.

The subjects involved in the realization of the project:

• Wejherowo town commune
• Wejherowski’s county
• Literature and Cashubia-Music Museum
  

The task involved in the work of Wejherowo town commune is the coordination of works concerning the whole range of the project, these are:

• preparation f the motion about the financial subsidy grant from European Regional Development Fund,
• contract conclusion with the institution mediating in the Integrated Regional Operation Development management in the case of approval of the project to be funded from structural funds,
• saving in the budget the financial resources for covering the own participation in the project and assurance of financial fluency,
• writing of the tenders and contracting conventions for realization of tasks included in the project,
• supervising the project realization,
• paying for the completed tasks
• rates monitoring and making the reports from the proceedings of project realization,
• doing other activities which are demanded in the agreement about financial support from European Regional Development Fund.
  

County’s tasks involve:

• financing 25% of Museum expenditure,
• transferring on the Commune’s requests any data and information also converted ones connected with the preparation and entering the project.
  

Museum’s tasks are:

• preparation f technical documentation along with necessary permissions and arrangements like the permission for building in the range of organizing in your own object information center about Wejherowski’s Calvary and the region,
• Commune access to real estates for building purposes and transferring to commune the received permission for building in the range concerning room no. 1.17.,
• transferring on the Commune’s requests any data and information also converted ones connected with the preparation and entering the project.
• participation in the bargaining commission works as well as in supervision in project realization and in getting works in the region,
• Equipment of the information centre in the museum room in the exhibits and information materials.
  

Project financing

The total value of the project after changes is: 13.026.420,72 zl including qualification costs 13.016.420,72 zl.
Financial support from European Regional Development Fund is 9.627.794,19 zl which is 73,96% of qualification expenditure.
